Paper
I am writing my paper relating to World War Two and the atomic bombs dropped on Japan. This relates directly to chapter 17 of The Prince. The dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki may have been cruel, but in the long run it saved many American and Japanese lives. Truman brought peace to the United States through fear of another attack. This follows the idea that it is better to be feared than to be loved.

I was gonna focus of a specific war myself but i decided to go with a broader topic of imperialism and how that has had a huge effect on starting wars and conflict. Monarchies arent the only ones taking things over, republics do it too and act like it never happened afterwards.
