And The Band Played On
The movie and the Band Played on Was a very interesting movie. It shows how people in the government reacted to one of the most deadly viruses, AIDS. I think it is very interesting how the government will not release information about a virus that big until it is already too late. It is disturbing how long they waited before telling the general public about AIDS. Almost makes you feel that their job is more important than the life of a human being. I wonder what other things the government has done this with. Maybe half of our wars didnt start for the reasons we think they did.

I think many of them do think their jobs are more important than the lives of "those particular" human beings. At the time when they should have stepped in and helped, they probably still thought that it was the "gay disease". Why would the government step in and spend millions of dollars on such people? (this is not my opinion... just saying...)
